Supplier Risk in Ireland: What NIS2 and the EU AI Act Are Really Asking

Renaissance is bringing a new event to the Irish market. MSP Expo Ireland takes place on Wednesday 4th November 2026 at Medley, Fleet Street East, Dublin 2, from 9am to 3:30pm, and it is free for MSPs to attend.

The idea came out of conversations we have been having for years. Managed service providers turn up at industry events and find one session on their business among a dozen on somebody else’s. The talk about pricing, about moving off project work, about what a buyer would actually pay for the company, tends to happen in the car park afterwards. We decided to build a day where those conversations are the programme.

Who the day is for

MSP Expo Ireland is aimed at MSP owners, directors and senior decision makers across the island of Ireland. It sits alongside Cyber Expo and Conference Ireland, our flagship event which reaches its tenth year in 2027, and applies the same standard of programme to the business of managed services.

Attendance is free and by registration, which keeps the sessions focused and makes the time you spend at the exhibition stands worth having.

How the day works

Medley gives us two floors, both live from the moment the doors open.

The ground floor holds the exhibition, where you can meet the vendor partners who build for MSPs, see what they have, and work out whether any of it fits your own portfolio. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments are all served on that floor, so there is time between sessions to have a proper conversation rather than a hurried one.

The mezzanine above holds the conference. Five panels of 30 minutes each, moderated, with questions taken from the room. Nobody reads slides at you. Each panel seats MSPs and vendor partners together, so you hear how a question looks from both sides of the table. Speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The programme

The agenda follows the shape of an MSP business, from where you are now to where you might end up.

The State of the Irish MSP Market, moderated by Michael Conway, opens the day with where the market sits right now: consolidation, pricing pressure, and how client expectations have shifted over the past year.

The Financial Model Behind Growth, moderated by David Keating, gets into the numbers underneath a well-run MSP, and the metrics buyers and lenders examine as a business grows.

Building Recurring Revenue, moderated by Norman Newell, covers the move off project income towards contracted monthly revenue, and how to price it without giving margin away.

Choosing and Consolidating Your Stack, moderated by David Keating, looks at cutting vendor sprawl, where consolidation genuinely helps, and how to judge whether a technology is worth wrapping a managed service around.

Mergers, Acquisitions and the MSP Exit, moderated by Michael Conway, closes the programme with what buyers look for, how MSPs are valued, and why the groundwork for a sale starts years before anyone opens a conversation.

The exhibitors

A group of vendor partners will exhibit on the day, with several of them taking a seat on the panels. We will announce the full list of exhibiting vendor partners over the coming weeks, on the event website – cyberexpoireland.ie.

The venue

Medley sits on Fleet Street East in Temple Bar, a few minutes’ walk from College Green. Luas, DART and the main city bus routes are all close by, and there are plenty of hotels on the doorstep for anyone travelling from outside Dublin or from Northern Ireland.
